Privacy Policy

World Ventures Corp (“we,” “us”) operates the Taco Tuesday Deals website and Android app for discovering and sharing restaurant deals in the United States. This policy covers that service. For privacy questions or requests, contact webmaster@worldventurescorp.com.

You can browse public deals without signing in. Posting, reviewing, saving deals and managing your account require sign-in. Email and Google sign-in use Google Firebase Authentication. Earlier accounts may also use Sign in with ChatGPT for access or migration. Your location and photo uploads are optional.

Information we collect and use

What other people can see

Your display name, deals, ratings, reviews and attached photos are public, including to people without accounts. A photo can reveal people, places or other details in the image. Only share content you intend to make public. Saved deals and your blocked list are private to your account. Community availability feedback may appear as aggregate confirmation counts and dates.

Shared links and QR codes open public pages. Social previews or downloaded sharing images may include a deal photo and text. Sharing is initiated by you; the app does not automatically publish to your social accounts. A local roundup link may include an approximate search center rounded to two decimal places. Copies, screenshots and posts other people make outside this service may remain after deletion here.

Providers and other disclosures

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect people or service security, or establish or defend legal claims. If the service changes ownership, information may transfer with it subject to this policy and applicable notice requirements. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. This version has no advertising SDK or payment checkout.

Content screening and private review

New deal submissions, reviews, display names, manually entered restaurant information, edits and uploaded photos are checked before publication. When automatic screening is connected, we send the submitted text or photo to OpenAI’s Moderation API to help detect potentially harmful content. We do not send your sign-in identifier, email, saved deals or device coordinates as part of that screening request. OpenAI processes requests under its privacy practices and API data controls.

Flagged or unchecked submissions remain private for authorized moderators to review. We store their content, the screening outcome, a brief reason, submission time, review-request status and, when a moderator acts, their account identifier. We do not store the provider’s full score response. The poster can see the outcome, edit and resubmit, withdraw an unposted submission, or request human review of a rejection in Profile → Pending submissions. Existing published content stays unchanged while an edit is held. Approved photos become public only when attached to a published contribution.

If screening is unavailable, new submissions wait for manual approval; they are not automatically published. Screening can make mistakes, does not verify restaurant prices or offers, and does not replace human moderation. Posts published before this update have not all been automatically screened. Private submissions are retained until published, replaced, withdrawn or removed through account deletion or a support request. Orphaned upload files can remain private until account deletion or a removal request.

Device permissions and local storage

Location is requested when you choose a nearby feature. Camera or photo selection is used only when you choose to attach a picture; you can post without a photo. Uploaded photos are resized and re-encoded in your browser. The app does not request contacts, microphone access, or background location. Manage permissions in your browser or Android settings.

Unfinished deals and reviews, including selected photos, are saved in this browser. Draft recovery is available for seven days. Older draft files may remain in browser storage until overwritten, discarded or cleared through your browser’s site-data settings. Google restaurant details are excluded from draft storage. Firebase may save sign-in credentials in browser storage to maintain your session. The app also sets a secure, HTTP-only, same-site sign-in cookie for account-protected photos; it expires with the sign-in token and is cleared on sign-out. We do not add advertising cookies. You can discard a draft, sign out, or clear this site’s data in browser settings; clearing local data does not delete published posts.

Retention, account deletion and your choices

We keep your account, acceptance record, saved items and contributions while you use the service, until you delete them or request removal, subject to moderation and legal obligations. Expiring or pausing a deal does not delete it; it may remain accessible by link. Removing an attached photo or its post stops its public display, but the uploaded file may remain in private storage until full account deletion or a removal request.

Use Profile → Delete my Taco Tuesday Deals account & data or our account and data deletion page. Successful self-service deletion removes your app profile, acceptance record, deals, reviews, favorites, confirmations, reports, pending submissions and blocks associated with you, and your uploaded photos from active storage. Deleting your deals also removes reviews and other dependent records on those deals. For email and Google sign-in accounts, the Firebase login for Taco Tuesday is also deleted. If that step fails, retry deletion or contact support; some app data may already have been removed. Your separate Google or ChatGPT account is not deleted. Returning and contributing later can create new Taco Tuesday Deals records.

Temporary abuse-prevention records expire within up to 48 hours and are removed on subsequent service use. Aggregate counts without a link to your identity may remain. Hosting/authentication logs and backup copies are governed by those providers’ retention processes and are not instantly erased by the app’s deletion button. If specific information must be retained for law, security or a dispute, we limit it to that purpose and explain any applicable exception when handling your request.

You can edit or remove individual contributions in Profile, manage saved deals and blocks, decline location/photo permissions, and clear local drafts. Contact webmaster@worldventurescorp.com to request access, a copy, correction or deletion of your information, or to appeal a privacy-request decision where applicable. We may ask for proportionate information to confirm ownership and will respond within applicable legal deadlines. Do not send passwords, verification codes or identity documents unless separately requested through an appropriate secure process.

Security and processing location

The app uses HTTPS, sign-in checks for private actions and server-side ownership checks for edits and deletion. Private Google Places and moderation API credentials are kept on the server. Firebase web configuration is public app configuration and does not grant access to user data. No system guarantees absolute security. This is a US-focused service; our providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate.

Children

Taco Tuesday Deals is not directed to children under 13. Users must be at least 13, and those under 18 need a parent or guardian’s permission. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can investigate and remove it as appropriate.
